The study focuses on the election process, the personnel structure and the position of the deputed OpavaKrnov estates at the Silesian Public Convention. Founded in 1743, the institution followed in the previous allSilesian administrative structure, and, at the same time, served as the Provincial Assembly and the Provincial Committee. The deputed estates of the Principality of Opava-Krnov were one of the five delegates at the Provincial Assembly of the Silesian Public Convention and also the only representative of the society of estates of Austria Silesia.
