One of the research areas of historical geography (HG) is the research of pre-historic and historic landscape and its use. The method of profiles of cultural landscape layers makes it possible to monitor horizontal and vertical relations in the landscape which, along with the phenomenon of the social component of so called driving forces, determine the process of anthropogenic exploitation of the researched territory in the course of time. The article deals with the genesis of industiral landscape of Nováky which is reconstructed through profiles of cultural landscape layers. The applied method brings more complex historical geographic knowledge of the aspects of chemical indsutry in the southern part of Prievidza basin. … celý popis
