Radial approach to 3D magnetic resonance morphology of brain in Alzheimer disease classification

Digital morphology of 3D magnetic resonance of the brain can help to classify Alzheimer disease. The brain ventricles are the s ubject of digital morphological investigation. Following the determination of the threshold and segmentation the basic digital morphologi c analysis can be performed. The results of previous analysis are transformed to radial variables first. They are based on the radii of eq uivalent spheres with the same properties. A set of radial characteristics is then obtained.
