Lower Miocene freshwater ostracods and gastropods from the Chomutov area of Northern Bohemia, Czech Republic
Ostracods and gastropods prove an Eggenburgian age for the interval 97.80-97.90 m in well Kr-156 at Kralupy near Chomutov in the North Bohemian brown-coal Basin. The depositional environment is interpreted as the shallowlittoralof a large freshwater lake with muddy bottom in a warm to temperate climate
