The content of the catalogue of the National Library of the Czech Republic is based on data provided by the National Library of the Czech Republic to the Moravian Library for the needs of the portal Knihovny.cz. The catalogue of the National Library of the Czech Republic is created with the help of the tools of the portal Knihovny.cz. The operation of the catalogue of the National Library of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as the catalogue) is technically provided by the Moravian Library.

Cookies
The catalogue uses cookies for its operation, which it needs to provide services to users. Cookies are also used for statistical metrics of traffic.

Using catalogue without logging in
If you use the catalogue without logging in, no personal data about you, your behavior, actions, etc. is stored there.
Data stored after the user logs off
- If you log in using credentials of a registered user of the National Library of the Czech Republic (NL CR), your unique identifiers from NL CR library system are stored in the catalogue.
- The catalogue also stores items from your book bag (if you use it) and the history of your saved search queries.
Data that the catalogue processes or displays to the user only during his login session
- This is data that the catalogue takes over from the library system of the National Library of the Czech Republic. These are the name, contact address, or telephone and e-mail address of the user in the form in which the NL CR records them. It is also the login name and user identifiers in the library system of the NL CR, the registration status in the NL CR, the list of loans, fees, the history of loans in the NL CR.
- All this data is used only for display to the user, or for performing other actions at the instruction of this user (entering and canceling reservations, etc.)
Deletion of personal data - right to erasure
All data that the catalogue keeps about the user can be removed from the catalogue:
- If you have stored any search queries on the portal in the past, you can delete them in the My account > Search history > Saved searches.
- Similarly, it is possible to delete items from the clipboard in the My account > Favorites.
Technical information (logs, statistics, etc.) is regularly automatically anonymized.
